I agree looks like a MG belt for MG34 and MG42

Has the buckle part any markings?

        Cheers

Gentlemen, it is a Gew98 sling. It does somehow look like an MG sling due to the kind of buckle it has but if you compare it to one of an MG, you will see this one is thinner, finer construction. Realise that there is also a runner buckle, not present at MG slings, and finally, this one doesn't have a front carabiner buckle.

The Gew98 sling could also be fixed to a little hole just in front of the trigger, in the trigger guard frame.

The one that looks more like an MG sling is an FG42 sling, as it is like that of a Gew98 but with a carabiner hook buckle but also one of those you can find in a Kar 98k sling (second pic, from Klaus Espeholt's web I believe, just for comparison reasons)

I'm sorry to say I don't know what a selling price might be for the Gew98 sling.
