gentlemen,

i got this buckle which i would like to present here.

as i am looking for more information on this one, any comments welcome.

i believe it was worn on top of the "kuerass" of the bavarian kuerassier regt. Nr. 1 (munich) until 1871.

it came with the original belt and was found together with a "wehrpass" from that regiment / 1.Eskadron von 1892- 1894.

Do you have a picture of a Bavarian Kürassier wearing his helmet and Kürasse ? (I have a Mannsch helmet from the 1.Bay Kü Regt in my collection.
