    Folks

A new addition for me. I don't see any issues with it but always good to get some reviews.

No markings that I can see but the texture and colouring of the metal suggest silver or perhaps Neusilber. Does not seem to be a plated tombac piece as I can see no base metal peaking through.

Very slim in design. usually the crescent is separate and raised. Not in this case. The rivets are chunky and the horizontal pin is an unusual choice.

Looks like Silver, very nice patina. Love the pattern under the enamel.

Yeah, that's a very nice variation. No doubts, I'd say.

          Hi Rich!

See you finally got it in. A real beauty and certainly a different variation compared to most seen. Congrats!

            Awesome specimen.

Is a maker known for this type?

Anyway, thank you for the treat.

                  Thank you, gents!

I thought you'd all appreciate this one. If anyone can narrow it down to a maker the information would be much appreciated.

Isn't there a WW1 woundbadge made of silver (800) with the same reverse set up?

Good thinking Don. It is close.

Here it is. Unfortunately also no maker known.

                            Hi Richard,
Nice variation, I owned a cased one once ,with the godet sticker on the under side of the case. just mentioned for interest sake. picked it up from C philips a couple of decades ago when the weren"t as popular as today.
                            cheers

                              Guys,

Yes the style is very similar but who could really say if there were related. With so many jewelers during that time producing awards it so hard to pin any down without any markings.

In deed the prices of these have risen much lately as they have become more popular.
