I recently won this Soldbuch to Albert Hildebrandt. The book was listed by it's 'last" unit: Heeres Ers. Staffel. Since I couldn't find the unit, I had to have it. The Soldbuch was very beat up, which made me want it more and of course, his award Urkunde were sold seperately. Anyway. it turned out that the "unit" was actually: Hunde Ers.Staffel/Nachr. Ausb. Abt. 1. His final unit on page 17, which hadn't been shown, was: Banden-Jadg-Kdo 1 Inf. Div.

The two award documents I was able to win. Although Hildebrandt was serving with the 692 Inf. Rgt. of the 339 Inf. Div., his EKII was issued by the 208th Inf. Div. Both divisions were both fighting under XXXXVII Korp...so maybe that's why.Comment
