Showing here a very nice LDO hardshell case which - while it did not come to me with an award in it - has been the home to my 1st Class Juncker (L/12) EK Screwback. One of the things that I like about it is the original sticker on the reverse which looks like it has been there since 1944.
If I read the German abbreviated text correctly, it seems to indicate that the case is for a 1939 EK1 with pin (Ndl=Nadel?) - even though the interior is fitted for a screwback disc-type cross.
I do not understand the next line which appears to be: "J.Rgs". Can anyone tell me, please? Could the "J" stand for Juncker, perhaps?
The price back then on the 11.10.44 was a whopping Reichmarks 6.80!
