Fantastic new book about Soviet flags , with a section of DDR flags

Dear forumfriends

I just received a new big HC Book about Soviet flags and tops .
There is also a section in the book about DDR flags and flags from other communist countries , by Pierre Znamensky and Guy Gallice .
Guy is a friend of mine from France .
The title of the book : '' Sous Les Plis Du Drapeau Rouge '' ( 350 pages / hundreds of photos ) for now only in french language .
I think this is the Bible for Soviet flags .

Thanks for taking the time to post for us the latest
book related to flags. The photographs are impressive.

Ditto that, indeed nice to see many like examples in my own
collection. Likewise, why I stopped collecting award banners, as
they were seemingly endless - the artistic textitle products of now
past military societies. Nevertheless, a book I will enjoy adding
to my reference library. Since I now collect movie flags, my favorite
of those posted was the film production award banner.

Are thes flags in the collector world,ore are the museum pieces?

The book was a gift from my friend Guy , he also wrote a nice dedication in the book .
You can buy this great book at Amazon.fr , and I also think on other sites ( I think the price is 49,- euros ) .
The Trotski flag is indeed a very nice one .
The Soviet flags in the book are just a part of the private collection from Pierre
The DDR and other flags ( and maybe some of the Soviet flags ) are from the collection of Guy .

There are no flags from my collection in the book
I talked to Guy and he told me that it's a pitty that there are no flags from me in the book , Guy realy likes my ''Sheep'' flag , and this would have been a great flag for in the book , but at the time I bought this flag , the book was already finished .
I have many nice flags , like the one with a factory on it .

Johan, I had the pleasure of meeting Pierre today here at the museum and he mentioned you. Were any of your flags in that book? He gave me a copy. Its pretty tremendous. Justin
