Rbnr. 0/0378/0007 = Max Ficker & Söhne, Remse.

The rivets head wasn't beaten too hard? The sewing is queer.

        Or just resewned & repaired?

          ...

Dear Pierre Yves, Chris and Taszi, I own an identical piece bought from eBay.de and I always thought that this is only a "high end fake". Now what is the situation with it? The sewing is the ugliest, I've ever seen and inside the pocket the leather is still brown.

So am I just too suspicious and these are good?

          Thanks!

Not a good feeling with this last one.
Seems a reanacting repro from here.

I think that the only difference is the sharpness of the pictures, basically.

I agree, sorry Taszi your Frog is a Top Notch Fake from Czech Republic. From the same Fakers are existing Y-Straps, Shovel Carrier etc. The Manufacturer "Max Ficker" is choose to say that you´ve been f***ed

                      Kind regards

                        Not my bayonet frog yet.
#1 (my) post from the local auction site.
#5 (Christian_GJR3) post, but I think his frog is lower quality than my post.

The Rbnr. 0/0378/0007 marked leather equipment always fake??? The Max Ficker company existed during the WWII with this RBnr....
                        I'll post better pictures.

                          Hi guys.....

just compare the studs..... then you know the answer.....

1st is original IMHO (at least it has a good chance) , 2nd is fake......

                            ...

Very interesting for me. Actually the aged look of the first one is quite convincing, but it would be nice to see sharp photos. And Max Ficker (What a name!!!) is in the original RBnr list, so he was a real ficker.

I made some detail shots of mine.
