Have you compared it with an known original Assmann observers. What were the conclusions of your research?

I think you missed the point here, Rich is only trying to help and engage in dialogue here to enable you to learn rather than to rely only on yes/no answers from other collectors. Do you know why this is not good for example?

If he did not want to help then he would not have responded to your thread which I guess thats probably what he'll do in the future

I think many people might not want to learn and just use the forum membership to or the badges they want to buy or sell. People like this can't make it at a show or private sale on their own.

There are people who really don't want to know how a real badge should look like and about real or fake as long as they've people working for them.
If you'll try to explain they start about vacation or work and forget about the badge.
They should choose another hobby like vacation or work.
These people don't like discussions and have no further questions, they only like to hear good or wrong.
Drop in the coin and there's the answer, no teaching, no chat, just yes or no and disappear.
I've stopped preparing threads with new findings many moons ago, just because of that, regardless the few people who might enjoy, the majority only takes, 7 days a week, don't give back anything.

                Jos.
