          I guess I got lucky

          I have a canon powershot A480, the macro function is very good. Also its a sunny day, which helps making the photos!

                I like your cross but I think I like your camera even more. I use macro a lot it seems so I will have to look into a Canon like yours. Ammersee

                  Agree, Canon got good macro. Good lighting and a steady hand is crucial too. Use a PowerShot A710 IS and the image stabilizer really helps when getting close ups.
