A lucky find....

Hi,
Nothing big just a small thing I got through ebay.de.
Some time ago I bought a WW1 photo on ebay.de.I asked if the seller had anything else and he send me a pic of a small pocket calender -"Jahrbuch für den deutschen Soldaten in Norwegen".

I took the calendar as it was cheap.

So today the calendar came today.

The calender belonged to Karl Hachenberg, born 12. December 1911 in Melsbach.

Accortding to the pocket calender served with the feldpostnummer 24252 =
14. Kompanie
SS Infanterie Regiment 7
SS Kampfgruppe Nord

The calendar has been used as diary and has entries like
"Gefechtsschiessen 1. Batl. 7. SS T.IR"
"Kriegsbeginn mit Russland, wir liegen vor Salla, 8 Km vor der Grenze"

Inside the calendar I also found the Mitgliedskarte from NSDAP from Karl Hachenberg
