    Auxiliary Cruiser cut off.

    hi all !
This badge sells in group with documents.
II asked the seller to send qualitative photos. But the seller has sent bad a picture (but the camera at him(it) good!!!)! I have asked more detailed photos - but refused!
It seems it's- copy like Juncker !
    Interestingly your opinion!
    Thank!

I like it, Maybauer pin. There was another of these posted a while back and the opinions were positive. IMO a very rare version of the aux cruiser.

Martin W. has a cut out HSK badge. His was the first I saw of a genuine cut out example. This badge is interesting and I agree, has potential.
Staying tuned in and following with great interest.

            Regards,

This thread shows the badge that is now in Martin Westley's collection.

On a side note IMHO, If ever a seller does not want to provide more pictures or scans. That is an obvious red flag and I usually walk away from the item or in some cases, the dealer as a whole. If the seller claims a genuine piece like this, which should command a high price. There should be no problem in supplying the photos you need.
If it's a good piece, than there should be no problem.

IMO it is a very rare and original badge by Paul Meybauer.
This is only the second one i have seen.I have it's twin but this example is in much better condition.
Nice to see another HK award by this maker.

              Regards,Martin.

Very interesting. I notice that the upper left arm of the swaz is cut out in this example, but solid in Martin's example -- not quite twins.

                Best regards,
                ---Norm

Probably due to the personal hand finishing/filing that was given to these awards.

                  Martin.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

                        Hi Guys,

Here is what looks like a Paul Meybauer Blockade Runner Badge that just popped up on Klaus Philipp's website. It is €295 if anyone is interested. The item is shown in the new update section and probably also in the Kriegsmarine section.
