    1929 Reichsparteitag badge

Hello, I've seen a few 1929 Reichsparteitag badges posted on the forum and was wondering which is more rare and/or carries a higher value?

    1929 Reichsparteitag badge (maker marked)
    1929 Reichsparteitag badge (RZM marked)

I understand that the RZM badges were made (I believe) mid 30's.

Attached is my maker marked 29' badge.

Great question! I was wondering the same thing myself when I saw how much the one on E-stand sold for

The answer is the one you posted the hollow back with MM on the pin plate. This badge was the actual one sold at the Rally. The RZM badges were replacement badges awarded after the badge became an Honor award in 1936.

Here's another version in silver from the actual rally.

              Badge

Sorry for the bad pic. This is the one in my collection. It still amazes me at the varied prices these command. Anyone know how many of these badges ( the early hollow back ones) were issued?

Nice early badge Chris, about 29,000 badges were awarded.

Thanks Chris and Erich (both) for your information and your photos. I'm happy to learn that the maker mark version is a bit more rare. (makes me feel like I have something really special)

Plus, if you think about it, it really does carry quite a bit of history with it as it was several years prior to the NSDAP "officially" coming to power.

Again, I really appreciate your insight and knowledge.
