    Opinions Needed on Heer Visor

I'm interested in purchasing this Heer Infantry Enlisted/NCO visor but I have some reservations with it.

I'm told this visor is the "summer weight" varierty and it therefore does not have an interior side lining. I admit, visors and their construction is not my strong suit and by looking at the attached pictures, it's difficult for me to tell if there was or was not ever a side lining in the visor. I'm told the visor is completely original and never collector messed with but I would like to be certain.

I would appreciate eveyone's thoughts on this visor before I make a commitment to buy.

    Thank you

I have seen such a variation before --- from those pics I don't see why it shouldn't have a chance. Unfortunately, the photos are way too detailed to say too much... can you show us the rest of the cap?

I don't see anything that would bother me... wait for some other opinions but I'd say

                          Kurt,

This visor is a PEKURO distributed by K. EKLARO of HANAU. I'm told some PEKURO visors were originally made without the interior side lining, but I don't know if this visor is one of them. Hopefully someone familiar with PEKURO's construction techniques can chime-in.

                          Thanks

100% wartime Pekuro. It is common to see an absence of side-panel linings on civil caps, but very rare to find on WH visors. Hat is a private-purchase as well.

I never heard the one about being "summer weight", as I always thought it was just a matter of keeping the cost down for the buyer--who knows.

All I can say is I would be proud to have this little baby in my collection....
