    Rare ek1 unmarked "24"

Hi gent`s, I want to show you what the mailman brought home to me..
I have found another EK1 (wide frame) from the rare maker "24"...
It`s the left cross, not in best shape but very desirable...
Thank`s for looking, and best regards: Chris....

          Hi Beuwulf,
pretty nice EK you got! It's a pity that the left is an a bad shape, but i like anyhow because of the wide frame. Like you said a rare piece.
          Cheers

Hi guys, The price is always what the buyer want`s to pay...
And I know one or two more members who have this cross
too..But this left cross comes from a collector in sweden who
had it for many years... And I don`t think he knew the maker
of this cross..(good for me)... I don´t mind if it`s in a bad shape
              because the manufacturer are RARE...
              Best regards: Chris....

I'm obviously missing something...how do you know this is from maker '24' if the crosses are unmarked and this is not a known maker of the EK1?

                    Ek1 24

Until I got one of these, I knew nothing of the maker. There is little, if anything written about them. Yet, I also got mine from a pretty old collection.

                          idea

Some of us should prepare a short piece on this cross, as there is nothing written about it. When I first got it, there was no research. Some immediately considered it a fake, just because they had not seen one like it.

Call me thick...but I still don't get it. What is the connection between an outer case (which could be paired with any cased cross) marked Koch - Frankfurt and the maker PKZ number

                            <table style="border-collapse: collapse;" border="1" bordercolor="#800000" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="500"><tbody><tr><td>24 </td> <td>Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer </td> <td>Plaket-ten-hersteller </td></tr></tbody></table>
                            which is in Hanau ??

Hi Richard, You have a point there, Maybe we all want to try to find the missing
manufacturers, and when we see something like the pics from Weitze, we think
that the proof is right in front of us...But it is still the only (yet) showing pics
together of this cross and carton... And to your question "can we be sure that
this "set" belong together"...Of course we don`t know for sure...But why would
Weitze have for reasons to put together things that dont belong together, and in
this case when we have a unmarked cross and no one knows anything about
the cross or manufacturer... Still this cross are RARE and not found in so many
collectors hands.. And for all who are intrested in this cross, came up with all the
info you possible can.. I have sent a mail to Weitze and hopefully he can get us
some info about this cross... I still want to have more input from you members
who is involved in this thread, to help me or to try to help, maybe us all with
this guestion... I am no expert at all, far away, so please help me out here...
                              Best Regards: Christian Karlsson.....
