Musée des Blindés - Tank Museum - Saumur/France

Hello.

I guess many of you guys have visited the Tank museum in Saumur, France.

It´s a quite good Tank museum, good selection of German tanks from ww2 and cold war tanks.

I traveled specially to France to see it, all the way from Iceland and I thought if you guys like to see some pictures.
I posed in front of the tanks and vehicles to have memorys from there on photographs I recomend it, equipments only, makes pictures monotonous.

I spent the whole day in there from 10:00 to 17:00. I had too much drinks on local bar night before so I had hangover the next day at the museum

Here is Königstiger, a huge and heavy beast. Note that I´m 195cm tall so you can see how big this Tiger II is

Yes, much more fun than just seeing the hardware. Is there anything else interesting as a tourist attraction in Saumur (the scenery from the hill looks promising) that can be used to talk a female into a long drive there from Germany? At least the neighbourhood looks better that that of the Panzer Museum in Munster.

yes there is, I went in April and the turist traffic was not starting yet so I had a quiet time looking around, I didn´t had much time to do it neither.
