These photos are being sold as originals, but the guy looks like a reenactor. What do you think?

I'm going to say it's a Fake... I'm no good at the research but there's 3 things that could be checked out to see if it is real IMO... The Knights Cross, German Cross, and Tank destruction badges.. I'm pretty sure there would be records of these being awarded to an individual.

I’m sure that is reenactor photos. The first looks realistic, but the second not. Please look at this: the same tree, the same man, but for what reason this soldier pose with bottle on box ??? (this box wasn’t on the firs photo!)…

          Best regards

Yes definitely a reenactor ! best place to post these photos are on the living history forum. Someone will recognise that reenactor on that forum.

Well, that doesn't say anything. Not every soldier got winter clothing issued.
It depends on the area and time.
And besides that, parka sets etc. were issued only a part of the year, from 15 september until 15 april, or at least that was the rule.
After that the parka's were kept aside by the company or in depots.

                      Very posed

Note he's also wearing the relatively uncommon rank of Unterfeldwebel.

Id say reenactor too. Doesn't the DK look in the wrong place in the top pic?

These (or very similar prints) were part of a set of 5 photo's offered on eBay in October last year. The pic's were with and without the box, but were all of much lower resolution than the pic's posted here. I thought that the eBay photo's looked OK, and did put a bid in, but didn't win.
I've looked through my PVA winners pictures and can't match the face, but that doesn't mean he's a reenactor. Has anyone checked the RKT faces?

I think it's a posed reenactor photo. The German cross is worn too high. After the first picture, the box and bottle appear from nowhere, and the second photo looks sooo posed, with that very self-important look on his face - an expression I've seen on folks who wear this stuff and take it way too seriously. Besides, he has more decorations on him than a Christmas tree. All this together is just too much.

I'll be his real job is a greeter at Walmart...
