Another comparison of that reverse hardware - very unusual on a Kriegsmarine badge but perhaps it was a reverse setup leftover from the LCTB production?

        I think more and more S & L.

I think many collectors will not be happy when they read this!
But the pictures do not lie!

I don't think it should make any collector unhappy. S&L was a known seller of the LCTB in wartime and just as good a company as Wiedmann if not better.

Sure S&L continued in business after the war which could raise some other questions but we know that in the 1960's they were using a different die and finish than the "S&L-like" badges.

          Best regards,
          ---Norm

            hi NormF,

I meant exactly this doubt. S & L is just a manufacturer of always means a lot to ask. And do not like many collectors.
Especially not if it is a rare and expensive badge.

And the worst thing is the badge is very often offered in comparison to the others on the market, or is known in collections.

Since the badge indeed from the optics and material different from the other secured originals.

This very flat skull does not look like the other.

But as I said this is only my opinion of the piece.

            Greeting Hans Günter

I got in a little trouble on GunBroker, but got it straightened out with an Administrator.
In the process, I turned in a real piece of junk, fantasy, reproduction Finnish SS Flag!
As I looked at this scammers other auctions, I saw this Condor Tank Badge.
It is still for sale. He has loads of phony junk for sale on there and has a lot of positive feedback!
Here are 2 pics of his phony flag.
