      Interesting this, it would seam with all the shrub around clearly been there a while, and apparently have been missed by the scrap dealers.

          They are talking in french...that might be a clue

            these tank hulks are all over germany. u.s. army firing ranges....
            In the u.s. there are countless tank hulks at Ft. Carson. Ft Bliss, White Sands missile range, ft sill, etc.
            this is no big deal!!!!!

              I saw these movies...

              This is on a french military area, near VANNES...

              Again WW2 tank targets in France, but very few....

              I remenber 15 years ago a US half-track near my home....

                    They really were not "found"...As stated these are Firing Range pieces that were abandoned on a military base somewhere.

                        Right they were found on a shooting range, but there was found an other tank under a street 62 km west of Paris:
                        A Second World War tank has been excavated from a French town, 62 years after it broke down while liberating it from the Nazis.

                        French bomb disposal experts were called to Chartres, 55 miles south west of Paris, to ensure the machine was safe following its discovery by French council workers.

                        The road workers found the machine during routine repairs and a mechanical digger was brought in to More..uncover it further.

                        Experts believe the tank is an American M5 and residents said they remembered it entering the town in 1944 as part of a liberation force.

                        It was said to have either run out of fuel or slipped its tracks during a reconnaissance mission for the 31st Tank Battalion.

                        The light tank was then abandoned, leaving locals to bury it after the war.
