    Prinzen EK2 1914

    I would like to hear some opinions on this piece(I was said that it is a nice original example of a prinzen EK2);

    Please say if you need any details pictured...

    Thank you all in advance!

    Hi Ring, i just want to start by saying that i have a love/hate relationship with those small wonders. Mainly because they are so bloody nice and so hard to authenticate

    If you check this thread you will find a cross that looks a lot like yours in post 26, it belongs to Tiger1, he has got many Prinzens.

      What i don't like with the cross is the uneven framehalves, it looks like they are not the same thickness, look at the black lines i drew between the edge and the soldering line, lines should have the same length along the arm but they do not. The bottom framehalf looks a lot thicker than the upper one and its not really a sign of good manufacturing.

        Here's a pic of my 1939 EKII Prinzen, the framehalves is exactly the same thickness, in this case 0.5 millimeter
