    Question about Fliegerbluse...

Hi..maybe this question is stupid, but why in some photos soldiers wear Fliegerbluse without eagle? These are two photos new arrivals in my collection, but I seen other example.

      Early jackets were issued without.

...and did not have pockets (like seen on foto "2").

Or hidden pockets without flaps as like the officers fliegerbluses.

I can't remember where, but I saw an early fliegerbluse to sell without eagle. It was presumably original... But who knows ?

They are some period pictures showing fliegerbluses without the breast eagle.

Most of the period LW photos I have are void of the LW emblem(hats and tunics).

Sometimes they dorked it up and sewed the eagle on the wrong side...

...or they could have reversed the negative when they were developed the photo?

The eagle then would be looking to our left. It's sewn on the wrong side.

Also, in that case, the buttoned flap would be reversed.
