    Beleuchtungsgerät box

    Hi All

Does anyone have a Beleuchtungsgerät, or reticle lighting equipment box? I'd like a decent pic of the inside.

    Thanks,..Rob

I have the same box and equipment, but I have never managed to find out what goes into the square room on top?
Label says "1 Kastenlampe batterie", but the size and form is unknown to me. And as both the Strichtplatteleucht and Stirnlampe uses the standard flat batteries the Kastenlampe batterie is not for any of these items.......

"Kastenlampe batterie" has puzled me as well. The only reasonable explanation I have is that it was a battery intended for the square battery box. Like a short battery for the FF33.

                      Hi All

I have been trying to assemble a Portable Demolition Kit 1940, & the Ohm meter for it arrived today. An added bonus is that inside the meter is an original battery! I have not seen one of these before, & have shown a standard FF33 field phone battery next to it for comparison. In the 2 pics, I have rotated the battery so you see at least 2 sides.
(Here's a small plug. I need the actual box & neon lamp if anyone has one for sale.)

I notice that 4 of these batteries fit exactly into the unidentified space discussed below! Could this be the mystery battery??

                      Best,..Robert

Very interesting battery, never seen the likes of it before! But it sure wouldn't fit in the compartment we are discussing, and it is only supposed to contain 1 battery, not 4.
I notice one detail though. The compartment is lined with cardboard, most probably to avoid a shortcircuit, so it is to be expected that the poles of the Kastenlampe battery has poles or conductors that would have come in contact with the walls of the compartment when placed in it....

                            hi Bergflak

I thought the same, but it is curious ( or just coincidental) that 4 batteries fit so perfectly. To be honest, I doubted it was for the reasons you mentioned. Don't suppose you have a demo kit box spare?

                            Best,..Robert
