i examined one two days ago in an old collection..made aout of russian zelt..and it also had a green collar added, just like this one, and no doubt taht one was a wartime tayler/field made item.

That has been for sale on the UK dealers website for some time now. I am surprised it hasn't been snapped up by now. I have thought about buyng this a few times but I'm concentrating on the soldbuch/wehrpass & photo album side of my collection for now.Comment

I think it is a fairly fair price. This is one for an Army Admin officer that I am currently in the process of buying and I have paid about £100 less then the UK dealers one, but I would happily pay the extra £100 for one that is in the condition of 'yours'.
