    Interesting tunic

I was browsing the web this morning and stumbled across this tunic for sale. Never seen one like it before. What are people's thoughts about it?

          Hi Ben,

My sense is a nice tailor-made summer tunic made of captured Soviet ground sheet material...

            Hi
i examined one two days ago in an old collection..made aout of russian zelt..and it also had a green collar added, just like this one, and no doubt taht one was a wartime tayler/field made item.

Good looking tunic indeed. Where did you find it?

That has been for sale on the UK dealers website for some time now. I am surprised it hasn't been snapped up by now. I have thought about buyng this a few times but I'm concentrating on the soldbuch/wehrpass & photo album side of my collection for now.

and fairly unusual to see for a lower ranking NCO. Nice example.

Indeed a rare tunic in my opinion
Here one from my collection in near mint conditions.

Indeed. Is 850 pounds a reasonable price?

I respect Luca but IMO That is high for this, these are not seen often but I don't think they are a really rare tunic ie. you see these more often than M44s etc. . Here is a almost mint Infantry Oberfeldwebel.

I think it is a fairly fair price. This is one for an Army Admin officer that I am currently in the process of buying and I have paid about £100 less then the UK dealers one, but I would happily pay the extra £100 for one that is in the condition of 'yours'.
I haven't revealed the dealer's site address as that is your perogative Ben seeing as you have your eye on it, with a view to obtaining it I'm sure.
