    model boat price?

I'm absolutely not a model boat collector, but I've seen an original ww2 period model boat (Z2 georg theile)
Length is about 50cm artillery barrels are moving
what could be a price range?
    Thanks

    Boat price

I am no expert in "collectable" models but I know from the toy soldier world there is a lot of information that needs to be known before a value can be attached to such an object. These are a few of the things one would want to know:
What materials is it made of? Wood, tin litho, brass, combination?
How detailed is it and how much do the details match the prototype?
What was the purpose of the model? Was it for a shipyard or museum display, personal display or a toy?
Who made it? Is this a commercial piece, hand made by a bored sailor during free time, shipyard builder, child?
What condition is it in regarding paint, missing parts, rigging, etc.
Some pics may be of use if you have any.It sounds interesting.

Sorry forthe bad picsbut I asked for some pics and have had to reduce them a lot to fit the forum rules.
It is made from wood and metal sheet. Seems to be an old model, and will try to get some other pics
      length is 57cm
      All opinions are welcome

                      I'll venture an opinion

To me it looks like a private made model ( hobbyist as opposed to professional ) but still a nice job. There also seems to be some damage to the rigging that could easily be repaired. As an example of a nice model I would say $250 t0 $300 dollars. Get the right KM collector and pehaps closer to $400. The down side to this piece is that you either have to have a good size display cabinet to hold it or have to build a display case to protect it ( another $200 ). Anyway, just an opinion. I hope I am not insulting anyone.
