Der Fuhrer cufftitle and dog tag

When I'm on the computer I can show you two other tings.
This cufftitle comes also from a Norwegian soldier. He served from 1941, and got involved in Operation Barbarossa. This was some of the things he had left after the war. Some other things has been given to other in his family.

Nice and wow. Congrats! BTW, you can call the whole WW2 as "Operation Barbarossa" because it is what it mainly was.

The dog tag is a gem! Congrats!!! (Cuff title as well very nice but it's almost impossible to find original DF dog tag in such condition).

What a great find - I think the dog tag is the nicest one I've seen from this regiment. The cufftitle shows wear, which makes it even better - just a fantastic pair. Congratulations! Regards, Robert

Of course "Operation Barbarossa" was only start of Russian campaign but more than 80% of all German losses in WW2 occured on Eastern Front and all major battles as well.

The 1.1 million Soldiers involved in the 1944 Ardennes Battle of the Bulge fighting might disagree with your assertion. Some say it was the largest land battle in history.

I believe there were 100,000 German casualties and 80,000 US casualties including 19,000 killed.
