    Robert Noss needs help...

    Hello All,

Robert Noss does not frequent this site but is well know for his expertise on W-SS camouflage and more recently because of his superb collection of Third Reich photographs which WAS open to the web. His site WAS www.Photosammler.de but has now been shut down and Robert fined for showing banned symbols of Nazi Germany. The story is here on the GMIC forum:

    http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=21960&hl=

Robert is taking donations to help with the fine via his PayPal account Payme@robert-noss.de

Robert has never failed to help anyone in need and, should anyone care to reciprocate, he would be grateful.

What has happened to Robert is a total disgrace.

    Political correctness gone mad.

So much for FREE SPEECH... The Germans do not have the same type of democracy as the rest of the West and perhaps that is our fault because we were the ones so hard on the Nazi past. And the Germans have picked up on that and made sure that it never raises it's ugly head again. However, look at the road they are marching down --- right back to Fascism; the circle complete!

Donation sent. Too bad it has to go to the state and lawyers instead of buying something to embellish a collection.

Interesting happenings. I am intrigued as I was considering buying a book published for the 1938 Reichsparteitag from a book dealer in Isreal. As the connection to shutting down his site in Germany came from individuals in Isreal, what is Isreal's stance toward these items and does their law address what we collect in any way?

          History repeating itself?

Sadly, isn't this the way 'it' started in the 20's? First just the 'little people' and then it grew and grew and grew..........

          Donation sent.

Agreed. It really is a shame, as there are so many 'real' issues that require immediate attention yet they continue to carry on with this nonsense, ignoring the real problems...

How far will the 'PC' nonsense go?

                  Sad. Truly sad.
