    Hi

Just a recent discovery ( from the battle field ........ by the friend of mine ).
I would say - it is a rare bird.
    Enjoy

Midas, I think it is rather unlikely that is an original. I have never seen or heard of them spelling Fallschirmjäger in that manner. Many abbreviations were used, but not as spelled on the tag.

        Hi Willi

Your answer is not surprising me at all.Well - as other pure dog tag collectors arround are saying - no one seen anything like this.I put this finding as pure curiosity.
This was a recovery from the field .Just shortly after the war all trenches were equalized to prepare soil for sowing. In this particular spot - remnants of 3 soldiers were recovered at a depth of approx. 1,5 mtr.
More precisely - nearby the place where Otto Skorzenny was assambling the last line of defence on a river before Berlin in early 45.

I'm fully aware not prooving anything now - some other pictures of items found in same trench or spot.

So enjoy the pictures ( or not ) , believe in originality ( or not ).

Yes, like I said, do NOT lay it there to waste !

If I had a grandfather who never turned back from his share, I would be very happy to know where he died or in which fight I died.

these people earn that right !!
give it to them, please !

Hope that all that stuff isn't from that Fallen FJ!

Let everything that's from him, stay from him. Giv' it all back to the family!

Sorry, I don't like it when you found remains of a (German) Soldier and then you take everything from him and the remains still lying there..

Hate me but I call that Graverobbery, even if it is from a War or not.. Don't be selfish. Call Volksbund.

The pic with bones looks true , condition of the tag is too for me , i only don't see any other details of FJ equipment like zippers from smock etc. probably he wored usual WH dress .
As for WAST people i can say i found similar FJ soldier last spring and inform these but nobody took the remains till this moment - that is true !
Looking for FJR2 combat pics in Russia.
