I was informed today that Roger F. Honts, of Kewanee, Illinois, has been officially suspended from Ebay. I am sure you are all aware of his misdeeds by selling fake helmets, flags, holocaust memorabilia, etc. I am SOOO very glad eBay finally got in gear and stopped this menace. He formerly sold fake WWII memorabilia under the username: pastworldantiques. He had multiple accounts, but eBay suspended those as well! This is a MAJOR victory for the WWII collecting community!

That is good news but it can be worked around with a ghost surfer. That program hides your IP so you can't be traced. Don't be surprized if he pops up again.

After years of obviously bad crap all over Ebay, they finally grow a pair, minute at that... and kick one person off... they still have a long way to go I'm afraid.

Of course on the other end, it is collector's who don't spend time educating themselves on something and end up blowing $1,000's on a bogus item that a $35 book would have prevented.
