    Rare cased EK2

I've recently gone on a spending frenzy and pick up a few nice bits. Here is one of them I got from a well known dealer.

A cased EK2 unmarked 100 W&L IMO. Lots of frosting still there. This type of "RK" case is very rare for a EK2. I will post this link on the cases and packet forum as well.

    Opinions welcome.

    Regards,
    AB.

wow that case and W&L sure is NICE.

I have never seen a case like this for EK2s.

                  8. It seems to me that the core may have been repainted. It looks like thats black paint on the bottom half of the rim.

                        Ek 2 Cased

                        Hi Andrew:
Nice catch. good luck. It was probably repainted or tuched up with spray. Im not that familiar with the case , but this looks promising.

Now if thats not enough, I went and bought the other cased EK2 that the dealer had. Not knowing which to get I decided to get both.

This one comes in an "Oakleaves" style case. Mushroom type push button. Again an unmarked 100 IMO.

oh dear... if someone repainted a nice cross like that.

by the way, has anyone ever tried to give a cross the frosty look on the frame again? what kind of paint is frost anyway?
