SS blade on estand.

I have posted a shortcut to this thread which is on the estand firearms & edged weapons estand. I would like others to comment. I have four PM's on this blade and feel it proper to provide additional review, I ask the seller to understand my postion as moderator.

Hammesfahr did use a variety of parts when it came to crossguards, perhaps the also used a couple of different subs on their blade too. And possibly a different motto on the Rohms vs non. I believe that the grip may have a good crack to the upper right hand side of the handle. Seems to go right through like maybe a repair. Maybe not and just the photos. The scabbard is definitely re-painted. Here is a mint Hammesfahr etch. You can see........... every letter is different.

Looks like the same etch as the one I posted JR. You probably have a different term, but the edges of each letter are sharp and squared off like the one I posted.

The Hammesfahr motto shown on estand is good. It matches the one depicted on page 697 of Wittmann's book. Here is another Hammesfahr ground Rohm.
