            Willi -

Thanks for the review, I was excited to see the subject matter being addressed, but concerned of the quality of the book, research, and images. From the sounds of it, it looks like the author did well? I'll have to place an order for a copy today.

And while we are on the subject, does anyone have any other recommendations for books on FJs fighting around/near St. Lo?

            thanks.

            Mike

The autor of this book is a friend. He is one of the best french specialist of "the unknow subjects" about Normandy campaign. He is also a old collector.

Based on this thread, I ordered the book and received it a few days ago. It is a very impressive piece of work with quite a few excellent photos that I had never seen before (and over the years, I've seen most of the published ones). The text is also exceptional presenting a balanced description of the battle. I recommend it to all.
