    Der Fuhrer Officer tunic.

Here is some pictures of a restored SS tunic of the "der Fuhrer" regiment of Das Reich. The insignia was found in the inner pocket of the tunic. Any comments welcome. Jacques

                            Jacques,

Was all of the insignia in the inner pocket, or did you have to hunt some down to complete it? Either way, you did a beautiful job and I am sure you are proud to have it in your collection.

Richard, I would love to take the credit, but the tunic was restored by Lorenz (you will probably recognize his floor). All the insignia, except the DF shoulderstraps and Alterkampfer winkel was in the pocket. I am sure Lorenz can elaborate on the history of the tunic. Jacques
