maker LW Offz summer visor?

Now this is a tricky one - has someone got an idea who could have manufactured this cap? The quality is very nice & heavy, but unfortunately it doesn´t have any markings inside except an VIII written by pencil (for 58 size) and a DRGM stamp.

Any comment would be welcome - it is actually my favourite. I guess the question is impossible to answer - but, who knows...
