    k-98 grey ghost 44 sgx rivet construction

    k-98 bayonet the so called grey ghost marked 44 sgx, grips with riveted construction it came with its original frog i took it out to take pictures any questions you have maybe i could answer where it came from ? ect pictures could tell you more than i could would appreciate your honest opinions many thanks to those that reply

                  Those are my favorite bayonets. I have a mint matching one as well. Scabbard is marked "sgx" and blade marked "asw." Had another exactly the same but traded it away.

                    it has a tiny bit of oxidation on it is there anything i can put on it that wont hurt the finish ? nice one as well willi thanks for sharing

                      Where do you guys find these wonderful bayonets? i have sought one of these, in near mint and a 1945 dated bayonet for years!!!!!

                        Bob, I have only seen a handful in the last 20 years or so.

                        Mine is a "gg" block. For those who know about these, that was the transition from "asw" to "sgx." So, to find one with both markings is pretty tough.

                              Hello members, Willi great thanks for adding this great piece here, it looks like only few hundred were realised in this configuration. Could You remember what for number was the other one? in same 34xx gg range? Thanks and best regards,Andy
