I have a vague recollection of zombie Nazis coming out of the water, but that's about it. What year was this movie made? looks like early 70's

The girl sure looks sweet in that little yellow bikini!

Great stuff, but I did not see any scary parts. All I saw was a hot, young, nubile girl in a nice little bikinni...

You make it sound like that's a bad thing.

I was thinking of renting the movie this weekend, but I don't think my local Blockbuster will have this selection on hand....

Blockbuster told me they have a movie called Shock Waves, but from '05. Was this movie redone? He said it's a Sci-fi thriller

              Shockwaves

              Hello,
Shockwaves is a cult classic from 1977. I remember watching it as a kid. As a matter of fact when my friend Steve and I get together I refer to my SS stuff as items belonging to the Totenkorp (from the movie). Here is an interesting tidbit about the movie, the entire film was shot in 16mm, I guess that is why the quality is not the greatest.

I don't know if they remade the film. It is a heck of a lot better then that piece of junk on the Sci-Fi Channel a year or so ago SS Doomtroopers.

The entire Shockwaves movie is on Youtube (on the same link posted) and is broken up into 10 parts (I watched it again last night).

I am just curious about the wool and leather the Germans used that could last in salt water that length of time (32 years).

I hope someone will download The Legend of Boggy Creek. I liked that film a lot as a kid.

              Regards,
              Jody

My computer doesn't load YouTube at a steady rate so I'll see if I can pick up a used copy off ebay for a couple bucks.

Boy, I thought I was one of the only ones who was aware of this film! I saw it at a drive-in probably about 2 years after it came out--a creepy, atmospheric thriller for the era (I want to say I saw it in a double-feature with THE horror classic of the 70's, Phantasm).
There were other movies in the Nazi-horror genre in the 70's--does anyone recall Deathship with George Kennedy? Check it out on IMDB. com. The other Nazi/horror movie that really freaked me out as a kid was the Frozen Dead, which I saw on one of those Sat morning "creature feature" shows.

If I recall right, the uniforms sucked in all of them--but I believe one form 1982 called the Keep wasn't too bad (but I haven't seen it since then).
Does anyone recall the old Night Gallery TV episode in which the SS occupies a Rumanian town (guess where), and the residents turn out to be vampires?!

Now that I think of it, one could write a book on Nazi-Horror Cinema.
(BTW, if you couldn't tell, I am also a "psychotronic" film fan--these are mainly exploitation low-budget B-movies from the 60's and 70's--if any of you get a chance, check out the Psychotronic Film books at your local bookstore--great stuff!)

Picked up my copy of Shock Waves for $4.99 off ebay. Hopefully I'll get it in time for viewing this weekend.

I don't remember seeing that Night Gallery episode but it sounds interesting. I really liked the Twilight Zone episode "Death's Head Revisited" though.

Stonemint, you mentioned "creature feature", so I knew we had to be about the same age. I loved watching creature feature! Along with Ron Ely in Tarzan which seemed to run about the same time, although I think Tarzan may have been in reruns by then.

I was just thinking about this film a few days ago. I just couldn't rememeber the name. Thanks for reminding me!

I also liked the movie The Frozen Dead. Here is a scene from that movie.
