    Armelabzeichen der MG-Scharfschutzen-Formationen

    I haven't caused a controversy yet in this forum, so here's one I'm sure you'll all enjoy!

    First, the man wearing the badge. They were indeed worn and I don't think all that rare. Indeed, they were part of the uniform.

    My take on the uniform is of a Hauptman, Garde-Gren.-Rpt. 2. EK1 on breast.

      Now let's kick off the controversy! One of these came with the picture, the other didn't. I still think both are original, but that's where I suppose it starts to heat up.

      Both badges magnetic, front and back.

          Have to make sure not to screw up the order of these... Back, or logo of bottom badge (or is that Berlin spelled wrong, no that's another thread...);

            Beautiful

            What a beautiful tunic. I wonder what happened to it?

              I thought you had Kaiser wrapped up in it? Hope you took the badge off first.

                All looks fine to me.
                If you find one of those neat WW1 EK award docs with the badge pictured on the top, give me a call

                    ...and as a final update, we can conclusively say the top badge is a fake. The mm is exactly like the EK1 combo fake that burned the very best and brightest, except Frank...

                      Hi Brian.

                      Could it be a re-strike? . Just kidding, great information

                        ...and in MY book, still no good!
