    HJ Knife help.

    Hi

HJ items are not my cup of tea. Any opinions on this knife appreciated. It is only marked with Hubertus Solingen. This is the only pic I can show you. The other pics I saw looks good, but I accidentely lost them. I never heard of this maker befor.

As always, thanks for any and all help.

    Henry

It looks era legit to me. Have never seen a post-war by this manufacturer for comparison. Perhaps we can have the HJ pros ring in or maybe hit GDC with the same questions and photos. Russ N. is an HJ pro.

Sorry I am not a pro. The scabbard looks war time and the dagger doesn't have any major red flags that I can see. I would be curious to know if the diamond wiggles. Not fool proof, but it helps. Perhaps you could ask the owner.

The owner says that the diamant is wiggeling.

I think that the handle is a variant

HJ isn't really my thing so I'll just ask a question maybe some of the other members can answer. Since there appears to be no trace of a motto, I assume this would be a later piece. It that's the case why is there no RZM mark?
