A-frame opinion please

Could somebody give its opinion about the originality of the a-frame on the pictures? Personally I have doubts, but I'm not sure. Thanks in forward,

thanks for replying! My concern is the quite long distance of the extra loop (on the leather strap) to the frame, if you know what I mean. Further I thought there should be some cloth material to round off the small webbing strap at the back of the frame where it holds the above metal hooks.
But I could be wrong, I would like to find out,

hello Again Peter,

personally i have no problems wiith the frame you have posted, it has all the aspects i would look for, were i still purchasing these things.

everything look ok. but ... if look closely you will see that both tracking strpas were replaced !! look at stiches in place where straps were sewn to frame and you will see completely diffrent stiches ( diffrent color of stiches ).

I feel its a good one. good eyes Barabrossa, but that ofcourse could have been a field repair. all in all it seems to be a nice one. none of the "D" hooks are marked? Glenn

Hello Guys,

thanks for your replies! Indeed good eyes Barbarossa. Maybe the replacement explains why the distance of the extra loop to the frame is longer as other frames I have seen, they keeped this part of the leather strap longer.

Thanks guys. As I see this A-frame is marked with RB Nr. About replacement - I've got one A-frame ( for now ) and mine also have replaced straps ( the same way that this particular one on photos ) so maybe you are right guys that it could be done in 2WW . Watch out Peter cause I gonna' get this A-frame !!

Hey Guys,

I was able to win the a-frame on eBay. I paid about 100 euro for it, so I hope you still like it. It looks indeed the straps are replaced, they are more worn then the rest of the frame. Hope I finally got an original frame. Then I’m going to hunt for a bag and an extra strap! Here are some more pics. Greetings Peter
