this BSW pilot was offered by a private source who told me he get it from the owner.
Could You give me Your opinions please, also about the used material? Wreath seems to be war metal, or am I wrong?

Sorry, no better pix, he mailed me only these photos in the morning:

EDIT: NEW PIX ON NEXT PAGE!!!

    Many thanks for helping!

      BSW Pilot

It is certainly is a genuine buntmetall version, I would like a euro for every repaired hinge I have seen on BSW's.

      Cheers

Concur; nice buntmetal BSW with cloverleaf. Except for the repaired hinge, looks about normal condition for these.

Could you please post a closeup pic of the BSW logo? I don't like the "W" in the leaf from the pics provided.

Cheak the post "My First Luftwaffe Wireless Operators Badge" fake BSW badge had a Logo like this one.

The space between the bottom of the "W" and the bottom edge of the clover is too big.

I got this photo from another thread. I hope the creator of the picture forgives me for using it.

Good research on your part, Alexjager.
However, in this case I believe the logo is authentic. Here is a blow-up and you can see that stem and letters are correct.

It sure does look a lot better in the close up.

Thank You for all Your help, guys! If the price is okay, I will buy the item.

Seems it gets more difficult every day to get original pilot badges ...

It's a good call either way, but that's why it's so importatnt for good clear close-ups when we are trying to verify or authenticate something here.
