    A little translation help please

    Hi, could anybody please assist me with translating this postcard please. It concerns a member of the FJ Rolf Kepple who died 10/45 many thanks for reading.

    Hello:
    here is my translation:
    Rolf Keppler, DoB 21.June 1921, DoD 12. Oct. 1995 in Bremerhaven.
    As Unteroffizier in the Paratroopers in France, After the deployment in Russia in 1942 where the battailion was destroyed and then reformed for the next mission in Sicily. Then in July 1943 a POW of the Americans. There for 2 1/2 years as a medic of the Americans, it was very good, best food and ...? care.
