    I closed a gap in my collection EK2 mm21

    Hi,

    i'm very glad today. A long search for a EK 2 from the maker Godet is terminated.
    As so often in the life such thinks happened if one does not expect it.
    In a shop where I would have never thought that thay sell medals i found this EK 2. Class wich i searched for a long time in a small box between some bracelets and trailers.
    I asked for the price and i paid only 50€.

    The mass and data of the piece:
    • Manufacturer Gebr. Godet & Co
    • 3 piece construction with iron core
    • Width: 43,85 mm
    • High: 44,20 mm
    • Thickness: 4,40 mm
    • Weight: 20,38Gramm

    Hope you'll enjoy the pics.

    Regards
    Andreas

    That is a good price for a perfectly genuine and well preserved cross.

    Cheers.

      Its curious,

      I have seen some original ek 2 marked 21, and in everyone of them I saw that the frosting, instead of beeing preserved "white", has changed to a kind of "rosa".
      Have you also found this?

      Regards
      Carlos

        Looks like a beauty! Get that thing into the sun for some better lighting on the pics though!

                Hello,

                thank you all for your positive statements.

                @esquiroz
                The places at the inside of the frame that appearance as if they could be pink are deposits from superficial rust from the core which I could remove carefully with a brush.

                The rest of the frosting is white.

                @hankmeister
                You couldn't imagine. I became nearly mad because of my "Cam"
                I have tried everything to make good pictures with my old camera and now i ordered a new. The Nikon Coolpix with the special raund flash for making good makro pics.
                The problem with my old cam is the software. It's like if you could only use one course with a car. I cannot make pics without flah or use the automatic.
                In the moment when the new cam arrive maybe you will see somethink that looks like a comet in the heaven. Flying out of the sunsystems range.

                Kind Regards
                Andreas
