    Cloth War Merit patches

    I saw a War merit cross 1st class in cloth bullion with and with out sowords and was wondering if these are real war time items or fantsy pices. I have never read about them or seen pictures of them before.

    To the best of my knowledge they were "real" items. Bill Shea had one for sale last year for about $450.
