Hi Guys,
well first of all, I totally disagree with you John pic, or do you think the rest of these that walked out of a local house call with me are fakes too? here is the lot and here is a reverse shot of the eagle. Think I'd like to hear from Gary Wood and Bob Hritz too

Well Kevin , you can read right, did I not say I wasnt positive? Whats the sarcasm for kid, Ive never seen your group of eagles before today so I dont have any thoughts about them. Next time Ill use my crystal ball and read your mind before I post a reply.

Sarcasm? well, you know yourself, with the word probably or not, the other word (Fake) gives military pieces the Kiss of Death! If a fellow collector asked me about a piece, which they do! and I don't know about that piece, I would not automatically tell them it was a probable fake, I would research it and then ask fellow collectors, like I did here.(SS not being my area) That's why I asked. Whether it came from a pile from a house call or it was single, what was the differance? I asked about that (one) eagle. As far as a kid goes, yes I still young, been collecting 38 of my 45 years! (no sarcasm intended.)

Kevin, yes you are correct however I would think by now most know Im not an expert at the enlisted insignias especially the oddities. If you had said from the get go obtained from a vet I would have not questioned it. I was interested in the thread since Im trying to obtain a Hammerhead for my collection.
