I'm also new to this collection lark but from what i see it looks good, nice colour, correct ridge on suspension ring and the loop looks correct. If the loop is closed and welded on the narrow end of the tear shape it again points towards original. From what i remember there are only two makers of this award. I cannot remember who they were (do a search) but I would wait on a more experianced opinion for a confirmation.

From the pics, it looks like a good Petz & Lorenz. The ribbon does not look period, however.
