EKII Packet - Walter & Henlein

Hi Guys,



I picked up an EKII group of packet, ribbon and cross the other day and would like some opinions on the packet as shown below.

In my opinion it is good with a nice sheen and characteristics of packets known to be good.

Note though, that the maker is not a know EKII maker as listed on pages 69-73 of Gordon Williamsons book - The Iron Cross of 1939.

Comments please - maybe we can add one more maker to the list.

I was pretty sure of it and I'm happy that we may have found a new maker of the EKII.

Not much interest on the Crosses forum though which I find a bit strange, but there you go...

Chris, guys,

I didn't read this thread properly, a 'new maker' you've certainly brought this to our attention because I've had this for while and not given it two thoughts

It's the same maker and style of designation, I may be able to produce the cross that came with it it too ! This was given as a gift by Frank H on the forum a couple of years back now I think (he's not really into the packets and boxes.... what a thought eh !)

I'll take more pic's of it later, I have to 'fly' in a while.


Allan you must have this maker in your hoard and the cross with it.

Tell a lie the designation it different, just on the numbers wiothout going into detail, and your make mark looks just off in the printing alas not diddle doddles after the A. R.

Thats no matter of course, just two packets from the same maker.......and I'm getting there on possible differences in print.
