A Jubilee era cross, 1895ish. I believe the maker is AWS but I could be wrong.

It's a Jubilee, but not an AWS

There won't be a makers mark on that cross.

Ok, rookie question. This is a Jubilee EK. Made by whom? Unknown?

I understand those identified as "AWS Jubilee" pieces. What are the physical differences? The upper mounting hardware?

These might be made by S/L. Here is a thread that you might find interesting---

The AWS frame is identic to the 1914 AWS, with lug and wide frame. The crown and oakleaves on the reverse are very similiar also the reverse 1813 date is almost identic to the 1914 AWS core type 1.

The other, in this thread has a jumpring drilled to the frame and an extra jumpring for the ribbon ring.

I just checked- none on the cross or rings. Confirmed above.

What does a jubilee cross price at? I am not selling. I am just curious.
