    S.S. buckle for review 822/38

    Hi Fellas,
    i've been offered this SS buckle as part of a trade deal,i'm not smitten with it but i just need to check.
    The buckle is marked RZM 822/38 SS in a circle

            I agree. Looks like case fake and damage to the eagle seems to be artificial.

                I do think the same as Ric. I will not dare to discard that one too easy. What made you so sure this was a cast fake?

                    I see nothing wrong with this buckle. The main damage to the right wing area looks like a legit scuff to me, (drag scratching). Also, it appears to have some honest corrosion on both sides. This often appears to darken gray spots where the corrosion occurs on aluminum. A salty original buckle, imo.

                        I would like to read which points detractors are seeing, then maybe additional pictures could be needed. Do you have access to the physical buckle?
