The helmet is damaged, and the cap comforter is intact. How can this be?

Decal basically doesn't show any scratches, but lots of point damage areas, like someone hammered it to look old and damaged. Let's see what others have to say. Who is the maker of that shell. Decal doesn't look like Pocher, but can it be real EF?

To me that helmet looks like a dressed up relic to look more attractive.

A lightly struck EF mark can be seen Frank which as you suggest should be there, not sure why the decal isn't seen for what it is. Fairly typical damage to it from rust coming out from under the decal.

Decal is 50/50 for me but someone added a liner after the war.
