On various forums about German military clothing is often seen photos of German uniforms- especialy filed blouses wih size markings....
Sometimes seems to me these marking to be a little curious.....
So I decided collect all markings from field & HBT blouses, Pz-wraps etc.
As everybody of us knows, Heer field & HBT blouses were marked on middle of right front panel (reverse - inside) in this way:
Rückenlänge....................Kragenweite
..................... Brustweite
ganze Länge................... Ärmellänge
(back length...........collar size
.................... chest size
whole length..........sleeve length)
I hope this is the way to make real German size chart
Please, send to this thread (or direcltly on my mail-address) size marking of German Heer field & HBT blouses You have or - better the detailed photo of size markings of Your blouses....
Ditto for RAD-blouses (in Heer cut), SS-blouses, Railway Police & Police blouses
(I have an idea SS had ANOTHER SIZE CHART then Heer - and that is after my opinion the reason of 2 support hooks holes of SS-blouses in place of 3 of Heer ones....
Result of this research will be published on my web-site....
