Bringing those old ladies back to beauty

If you guys are interested i can start posting step by step those old ladies. Opinions on type model etc. are welcome. Imo it is a prussian mod. 1842 parade pickelhaube. Does anybody have an idea to get those horsehair nice and shiny again?? Guess they need some conditioner ((((-,

Fench or Belgian chasseur helmet

Here some closeups of an chasseur helmet from that find. Opinions on year and origin are welcome. Imo it is a French or Belgian chasseur helmet. The tail is horse hair.
