I have seen one other death card to him on eBay but that was quite awhile ago,

Great story about your parents there very interesting, thank you,

There are no awards entered in the Wehrpass so I think you are spot on about the family adding the shield and OST medal.

On a side note while researching his Wehrpass I randomly found a really interesting sterbebild website and found ‘what I think’ is a death card to his younger brother.
